Welcome to our new websites!

Right here Wurschmidt family and friends can post their current news, but we have also created a separate site for Wurschmidt connnected genealogy. Hit the link Family History above for news from the past!

We went with 2 websites for several reasons, and the details are in the link Technical above, but for now all you need to know is:

1. The web site right here we call home page, and this is where you can post messages and download original photos from the Repository.

2. The other web site we call Family History (see link above), and it is a living chronicle of who we are. It is somewhat more static so if you want to comment on a picture or something else, you have to come back here to the home page.

3. As a guest, whereever you go, the login is wurschmidt and the password is waldhorn. In order to contribute, change or add something on the Family History pages you need to sign up for a personal account at those pages.

Finally, we have done only a little to get the records correct about us living. We have been counting on your help for that, and know some of you are even missing! In some cases we have used a few very public internet sites, and the information available should be an afterthought to us all. However, the records do actually include the living on this site, so we have done our best to password protect the sites on multiple layers. If you find out something is available to the public, we would like to know. It is also possible to set YOU as a no-show if you so wish. This is only meant to be for what we call close family.
